The Benefits of Smiles

I came across this on the Maxine Facebook page.  I shared it last year and it popped up today in my Memory Feed. It still makes me chuckle. It so reminds me of me. My "resting face" makes me look angry so to combat that I try to always smile especially when I make eye contact with someone. Smiling does a couple of things: a) Makes me happy, b) makes other people happy, and most importantly c) it hides my mouth wrinkles.  A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Art Abandonment

So a new movement is underway, Art Abandonment. I don't know how long it's been around. I recently heard about it in my Alcohol Ink Artist Group on Facebook but it seems it must have been around for a while because there is an Art Abandonment Group on Facebook with 12,290 members!
Yikes!

My AI group has an event scheduled to abandon some alcohol ink art. So I'm preparing to abandon some in Italy this month when I go.

I will take photos of where they are abandoned to share with both of my groups.

A Scrabble Addict

Okay okay I admit it! I HAVE BECOME A SCRABBLE ADDICT! Isn't that the first step to recovery admitting it! LOL  One day I heard there was scrabble on Facebook and after that it was all over.

I'm up to 4 ongoing games and all I can think about when I'm off the computer is I wonder if it's my turn. How sad is that?

Gina Sutton is a member of my Designing Artists Women's Group (DAWG Team) and one of my facebook friends (Gina Sutton).... she's another talented artist and also does miniature art (ACEO's) She sells on Ebay under Ginasdrawings.
